What will you do as a CAD-drawer/Designer for Habufa Meubelen?
Semi-annually we have an internal home fair happening in the Netherlands, where the new samples and ideas for wooden furniture, sofas and chairs are shown. Before, during and after this period you are responsible for the correct drawings. First in the form of designs and sketches (with for example 3D max, or other flexible sketching programs) and afterwards for the technical drawings. Next to that, production adjustments and or assembly instructions are needed. Next to the technical drawing skills, is a passion and interest for furniture desired. Within this job you will get the space also to be creative and transfer your ideas to reality with cooperation of the Dutch and Chinese team! Travelling to factories to check your ideas and ensure correct measurement is also necessary. Next to that, travelling to fairs internationally might also spark new creations!
Job requirements:
- Has a background in furniture and few years of drawing experience
- Has a thorough knowledge of 2D/3D-drawing programs, like: Autocad, Inventor and/or Solidworks, 3D MAX etc.
- Is fluent in English language, both for writing and speaking
- Willing to travel frequently - 2-4x/month domestically, +- 2x/year to NL
- Is motivated, passionate, flexibel and pro-active
- Willing to visit furniture fairs
- Has interest to make creative new designs
